Born and raised in Charleston, SC, after studying at Clemson University and completing his bachelor degree in Science at the College of Charleston, Chris Ravenel started his career as a stock broker and later on a real estate developer.

In 2000, Chris built his first custom home and founded the Ravenel Construction Group, initially building homes in I’on and Olde Park.

Currently, he oversees project management and sales for the company.

Long lasting customer relationships and satisfaction are two priorities on which Chris built the business and career. What separates Ravenel Construction Group from other construction companies are daily team cooperation and communication with homeowners.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Chris spends his free time in nature, being inspired by coastal vistas that so many of his construction projects reflect.
